Xiao Mei Zhang (May), PhD, is a reproductive medicine specialist at GenPrime Fertility Los Angeles with more than 20 years of experience in clinical practice, scientific research, and reproductive medicine management. Her clinical interests include ovarian stimulation, embryo transfer protocols, fertility ultrasound diagnostics, and assisted reproductive technology (ART).
 
Dr. Zhang earned her PhD in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Jilin University and completed further studies at Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS). She also pursued advanced research training at Yale University’s Center for Reproductive Health as a visiting scholar. In addition, she is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer certified by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
 
Prior to joining GenPrime Fertility Los Angeles, Dr. Zhang served as Director of a leading reproductive medicine centre in China, where she specialised in ART procedures including egg retrieval, embryo transfer, ultrasound diagnostics, and multifetal reduction. She has also contributed to scientific research and academic review work in reproductive medicine.
